How do I remove 'Hi. I'm Bing. Your AI-Powered copilot for the web' from Edge search?

Hi There

Some more annoying Bing stuff has just surfaced. Got rid of most of it (remove sidebar) but now it nags to 'Get Started' in the Edge search bar.

Is there a way to get rid of this and return to just search - ideally also remove 'Trending now' and all the background noise that is not needed.

Thanks

    Hi Elise

    Thank you for replying.

That link relates to disabling the Bing icon at the top right of the browser - that I have already disabled along with the sidebar.

This is something new that appears as soon as you type to search for something (see screenshot above)

    Thanks

    Ah ok I misunderstood.

Could you try go to Bing.com, click the menu at the top right with three lines. Then settings, scroll to Search > Search Suggestion and un select ' See search suggestions as you type'

Unfortunately the tending items and the search suggestions as interlinked for bing so you can’t currently have one without the other.

At the moment there isn’t a separate preference for this.

The only further suggestion I can give is to submit feedback on the issue using the feedback hub app, you can find this in the start menu.
