How do I remove 'Hi. I'm Bing. Your AI-Powered copilot for the web' from Edge search?

Hi There

Some more annoying Bing stuff has just surfaced. Got rid of most of it (remove sidebar) but now it nags to 'Get Started' in the Edge search bar.

Is there a way to get rid of this and return to just search - ideally also remove 'Trending now' and all the background noise that is not needed.

Thanks

    Thank you

Using Yandex might be the best solution :-)

Well, I'm not even using Bing, and their stupid copilot popup is there.

Bing (someone at MS clearly watched far too many episodes of 'Friends') is the default for Edge.

The very annoying icon (that was on the far right) can be removed from settings but as yet no way to remove this from Edge searches that I know of.

If I cannot just use Bing without ANY of the recent AI additions (that are INCREDIBLY ANNOYING BTW), then I will just stop using it. I am tired of fighting with it. Maybe I just DO NOT NEED OR WANT ANY help. Microsoft is making a huge mistake here. As things stand right now, whenever the AI inserts itself into my search, I just close the tab completely. It wastes time. I used to recommend Bing for better results. But, I cannot now. Aside from this AI powered annoyance, if I wanted the same BS you get from Google, I would use google. Someone needs to go back to the drawing board and create a pure search engine that makes NO money for anyone. Just gives good results. ugh.

The AI feature is driving me crazy on a browser. If I scroll up too far from a previous search, i get this dopey Bing AI co-pilot page at the top of my browser which is slow and annoying, sometimes difficult to scroll back down to the standard edge browser. I'm telling myself not to go back to Chrome but I'm losing the will to stay with it
