How do I remove 'Hi. I'm Bing. Your AI-Powered copilot for the web' from Edge search?

Hi There

Some more annoying Bing stuff has just surfaced. Got rid of most of it (remove sidebar) but now it nags to 'Get Started' in the Edge search bar.

Is there a way to get rid of this and return to just search - ideally also remove 'Trending now' and all the background noise that is not needed.

Thanks

there are a few websites out there with instructions on how to kill that by scrolling up and getting the Copilot chat window. I wish I could now remember them but I know that one of them points to an edge extension called Tamper Monkey and gives directions for a script that kills it and that is what I am using. I have also gone so far as to block the Bing website that Edge goes to when you click on any of the copilot icons so all that pops up for me is a blank page.

    I hope this helps

Open bing.com on your PC. On top of that page, click on the Copilot Icon (or maybe this link will work Copilot).

Click the hamburger menu (Settings) and there should be two options to disable Copilot "Copilot response on result page" and "Scroll to open Copilot".

Copilot will still be there if you need it, but it wont work automatically on every dam thing you search.
