What security settings would block my ability to establish a specific network directory as a Trusted Location? I have a macro-enabled file that is necessary for operations and we have moved to a new Azure file system.

    Hello @Ralph Lary

Network Location Restrictions: By default, only local Trusted Locations are allowed. Network locations can be set as Trusted Locations, but this is not recommended without proper configuration. You may need to adjust your Group Policy settings to allow network locations as Trusted Locations.

Additionally, if the network share is accessed via its IP address, macros in those files will be blocked unless the share is in the Trusted Sites or Local Intranet zone. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the network location is added to one of these zones to allow macros to run without being blocked.
