To confirm whether your Azure subscription is a Free Trial or Pay-As-You-Go, you can check the status directly within the Azure portal:
- Sign in to the Azure portal.
- Navigate to Microsoft Defender for Cloud > Environment settings.
- Select the relevant subscription.
- Look for the icon that indicates the status of your subscription:
- If you see an icon indicating a full trial, it means the free trial is still available.
- If the icon shows that the free trial is active, you can hover over it to see the remaining time.
- If there is no icon, then the free trial has ended, and you may be on a Pay-As-You-Go plan.
Additionally, you can use the Azure Command Line Interface (CLI) to check your subscription status by running the command Get-AzSecurityPricing, which will show you the remaining time of the free trial if applicable.
