If you print a test page from settings - Bluetooth and devices - printer, what happens? The print seems in correct format or not?

new PC windows 11 wont print full page. printer worked on old pc no problem. printer spooler cleaned but no difference. I've changed the settings in the printer properties to a4 but still I'm only getting part of documents as if its printing letter size. I can print direct from my phone with no issues. I've uninstalled and reinstalled printer with no difference, clearly its a windows issue and not the printer?
