If your device shows "no audio device is installed" after the latest update, it could be due to several reasons related to driver issues or the update itself. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

    1. Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager and see if your audio device is listed. If it has a yellow exclamation mark, it indicates a problem with the driver.
    2. Update Drivers: You can manually update the audio driver by right-clicking on the audio device in Device Manager and selecting "Update driver". If the device-specific driver is distributed through Windows Update, ensure you check for updates in Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
    3. Uninstall and Reinstall the Audio Device: In Device Manager, right-click on the audio device and select "Uninstall device". After uninstalling, restart your computer, and Windows should attempt to reinstall the driver automatically.
    4. Install Device-Specific Driver: If the audio device is not recognized, you may need to install the device-specific driver from the manufacturer's website before connecting the device.
    5. Check for Compatibility Issues: Sometimes, updates can cause compatibility issues with certain devices. If your device is affected by a known issue, you may see a compatibility hold applied to your device. You can check for this in Settings > Windows Update.
    6. Try Different USB Ports: If you are using a USB audio device, try connecting it to a different USB port to see if that resolves the issue.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to consult the manufacturer's support for further assistance.
