Dear Support Team,

I have already completed the account recovery form in full and provided all required information (including recent contacts and subject lines of the last emails sent). Unfortunately, I have not yet received any response.

At the moment, I do not have access to my account. The account restriction needs to be removed, as I am unable to successfully reset my password. During the password reset process, I am required to complete two-factor authentication:

  • I do receive the code via SMS on my registered mobile number.
  • However, I do not receive the second authentication code, which causes the process to fail every time.

As a result, I am unable to sign in or reset my password.

I kindly ask you to reset the two-factor authentication or restore access to my account.

Thank you very much for your support.

Kind regards,

Sehr geehrtes Support-Team,

It seems you are experiencing issues with two-factor authentication while trying to access your Outlook account. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the problem:

    1. Check your phone settings: Ensure that your phone is not blocking SMS messages from unknown numbers or that third-party security apps are not interfering with the receipt of verification codes.
    2. Try alternative verification methods: If you have set up other options for security verification, select Other verification options during the sign-in process and try again using a different method.
    3. Contact support: Since you have already filled out the account recovery form and have not received a response, you may need to escalate the issue. You can create a support ticket without signing in by visiting the appropriate support page for your account type.
    4. Ask for help from a global admin: If you are part of an organization, reach out to your global admin for assistance in resetting your two-factor authentication settings or unlocking your account.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, you may need to wait for a response from the support team regarding your account recovery form submission.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Unfortunately, the account recovery web form will not work if the two-step verification feature is enabled.

Since you mentioned this: "I do not receive the second authentication code, which causes the process to fail every time."

May I have the exact error message when requesting the second authentication code?

Do you see any unfamiliar email addresses/phone numbers upon signing in to your account?

Since you have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account, do you still have the 25-character recovery codes?

Lastly, may I know when was the last time you successfully signed in to your Microsoft account?

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
