How to cancel & get refund for a duplicate subscription

Background: I have Microsoft 365 Family subscription, renewed the current subscription in July 2025 but now Co-pilot was not available and all my chat history disappeared. Microsoft prompt pop up saying I must upgrade, with 3 option, Individual, home and premium. They suggested family in order to use co-pilot; i purchase that, i thought it was an Add-on feature to get Copilot but still same application accesses.
Under My subscription, there's only one Subscription which was done in July, the one done this morning is not visible anywhere, its just money that went off my credit card.

My question is, how do i get a subscription refund? All the suggested answers say i must cancel the subscription first but the current subscription is the one from July 2025 renewal.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

    In the box provided, type billing.

    Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

    Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

    Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option
