Tenant blocked due to inactivity – AADSTS5000225 error, unable to access portal

We are unable to sign in to our Azure tenant due to the following error:

Error Code: AADSTS5000225

Error Message: This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity.

We cannot access portal.azure.com to raise a support ticket. Microsoft support redirected us to Microsoft Learn, but we need guidance on how to reactivate the tenant or escalate this issue.

Please advise on:

  • Whether the tenant is still within the 20-day reactivation window
  • How to initiate reactivation without portal access
  • Any alternate contact or escalation path
