I do have the free version of Outlook Web.

There I do not receive certain mails, is it from friends, other Outlook accounts, Authentications mail and so on. I do not have any rules applied, still 5GB Mail storage and can't figure out what the issue could be.

Also the security settings are on standard.

Any help is appreciated.

Greetings :D

    Hello Retus,

I understand how confusing it can be when you're not receiving certain emails in Outlook on the web especially without any rules or full storage in place, so let’s get this sorted out together. It sounds like you're doing everything right standard security settings, available mailbox space and no email filters or rules yet you're still missing messages from friends, Outlook accounts and authentication services.

Often this kind of issue is caused by how Outlook categorizes or filters certain messages before they even reach your main inbox. Sometimes messages are quietly dropped because they’re flagged as spam or filtered based on sender reputation especially if they fail authentication checks. In other cases another hidden filter like the Focused Inbox, sweep settings or quarantine policies may reroute or hide them.

To resolve this first check your Junk, Archive, Deleted and Other tabs to see if those missing emails are hiding there. Then review your safe senders list to ensure trusted contacts and services aren’t being flagged as spam or blocked. Disabling the Focused Inbox can also help show all messages in one unified view. These simple steps often surface emails that were mistakenly filtered out.

After that try sending test emails from different accounts like a friend’s Gmail or another Outlook.com account to see if they appear in your Inbox. If they don’t we might need to dig deeper into configuration or sync settings.

Would you be willing to check those folders and Safe Senders settings and let me know if any missing emails appear?

I hope this answer is helpful if you have further questions feel free to reply back

    Regards,

    Marcelo
