How do i get my original account back?

Ok, so a year ago, I tried logging on to play Minecraft through the launcher. I had already migrated my account in the past. It wouldn't let me log in, saying my email wasn't linked to a Microsoft account. I know it was linked; I was able to log onto my Microsoft account on Edge with the same email. I can't remember exactly what I did, but I got it to log in, except it created a whole new account for me. The new account was connected to my old account, but I couldn't switch accounts or delete the new one; my old account was completely inaccessible. I tried emailing Minecraft support about it, but they said they couldn't do anything; it was a problem on Microsoft's end. By that point, I had given up.

During the year, realized I wasn't in my family sharing anymore, but we didn't think much of it and just added me back.

Now, a year later, I come back trying to log in, and it won't let me log in again, but this time it's saying error 0x800704cf and that I'm not connected to the internet. So I tried running a network test, restarting my connection to my Ethernet, and restarting my computer. The Minecraft help center does have a section for internet and network troubleshooting, so I did try my best to follow that; I found my firewall and allowed access to javaw.exe. But nothing was working. On edge, I was looking through my Microsoft account and my family thing, and found my way onto Xbox Live, which I was able to log in to, logging in the new account, but this time I couldn't find my old account attached. I was searching a few things up and heard that if I leave the family, I lose access to Minecraft because I'm not the original buyer, and that just rejoining the family won't give me back that access. We have to fix that in settings or something. I haven't gotten the chance to look at that yet.

Please, someone, help. Is there any way I can regain access to my account?

To regain access to your original Minecraft account, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Microsoft Account: Ensure that you are logging into the correct Microsoft account that was originally linked to your Minecraft account. Sometimes, users have multiple accounts and might be logging into the wrong one.
    2. Account Recovery: If you believe your original account is still linked to your email, you can attempt to recover it through the Microsoft account recovery process. Visit the Microsoft account recovery page and follow the instructions provided there.
    3. Contact Support Again: Since you mentioned that Minecraft support could not assist, consider reaching out to Microsoft support directly. Explain your situation in detail, including the error messages you are receiving and the steps you have already taken. They may be able to provide further assistance.
    4. Family Sharing Settings: Regarding family sharing, if you are not the original purchaser of Minecraft, you may need to check the family settings. Ensure that your account is correctly set up within the family group and that the original account holder has granted the necessary permissions.
    5. Network Troubleshooting: For the error 0x800704cf, ensure that your internet connection is stable. Since you've already tried some troubleshooting steps, consider resetting your network settings or checking for any updates to your network drivers.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may require more in-depth support from Microsoft to investigate the account linking and access issues further.
