How do i get my original account back?

Ok, so a year ago, I tried logging on to play Minecraft through the launcher. I had already migrated my account in the past. It wouldn't let me log in, saying my email wasn't linked to a Microsoft account. I know it was linked; I was able to log onto my Microsoft account on Edge with the same email. I can't remember exactly what I did, but I got it to log in, except it created a whole new account for me. The new account was connected to my old account, but I couldn't switch accounts or delete the new one; my old account was completely inaccessible. I tried emailing Minecraft support about it, but they said they couldn't do anything; it was a problem on Microsoft's end. By that point, I had given up.

During the year, realized I wasn't in my family sharing anymore, but we didn't think much of it and just added me back.

Now, a year later, I come back trying to log in, and it won't let me log in again, but this time it's saying error 0x800704cf and that I'm not connected to the internet. I was searching a few things up and heard that if I leave the family, I lose access to Minecraft because I'm not the original buyer, and that just rejoining the family won't give me back that access. We have to fix that in settings or something. I haven't gotten the chance to look at that yet.
