Cannot see a Q&A tab on Microsoft Teams on 365 Personal

I have attended two webinars via Microsoft Teams on my Microsoft 365 Personal subscription. Moderators ask for questions via the Q&A tab but I cannot find such a tab. The moderators have clearly enabled Q&A at their end because other participants' questions are being answered. Am I excluded because I am not a business or education? If not, how to I get the Q&A tab to appear and work?

    Based on the description of the issue you provided; while attending Teams webinars on your Microsoft 365 Personal subscription, you couldn't see the Q&A tab even though moderators enabled it and other participants were using it.

    Can you confirm whether you joined the webinar through the Teams desktop/mobile app or through a web browser, and if so, which browser and version?

    You're not excluded just because you're using Microsoft 365 Personal. The Q&A feature in Teams webinars is available to all participants as long as the organizer turns it on. If it's missing on your end, it's usually because you joined through a web browser. The Q&A tab doesn't always show up in browser session, so using the desktop or mobile app is recommended.

    You may not see the Q&A tab because it depends on how you joined the webinar. The organizer has already enabled Q&A since others can post questions, but browser users especially in incognito mode often can't access this feature due to known limitations. The Teams desktop and mobile apps fully support Q&A, while browser sessions may only display chat or limited options.

    Here's what you can do:

    • Use the Teams desktop or mobile app instead of a browser. This guarantees the Q&A tab will appear when it's enabled.
    • Check your Teams version: Make sure your app is updated. Older builds may not display newer webinar features.
    • In the app, check the top menu bar; the Q&A tab should show up next to Chat, Participants and Reactions.
    • If you can't install the app on your current device, try joining from another device that has the Teams mobile app.
