To clear your browser cache in Microsoft Edge, follow these steps:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.
    2. Copy and paste edge://settings/clearBrowserData into the address bar and press Enter.
    3. In the dialog that appears, select Cached images and files.
    4. Click on Clear now to clear the cache.

This should help resolve issues with video playback and ads freezing your browser.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand how frustrating it is when videos freeze during ads, especially if you just want to enjoy your content without paying for premium features. Let’s go through a few steps that usually fix this issue and why they work.

First, clear your browser cache in Microsoft Edge. Cached files can become outdated and interfere with how ads and videos load. You can do this by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete, selecting Cached images and files, choosing All time, and clicking Clear now.

Second, try a hard refresh on the page by pressing Ctrl + F5. This forces Edge to reload everything from the server instead of using old cached data, which often resolves playback glitches.

Third, check if any extensions especially ad blockers are active. These can sometimes conflict with video ads and cause freezing. You can temporarily disable them or open the video in an InPrivate window to test.

Last, make sure Edge is up to date. Updates often include fixes for streaming and ad-related issues. If the problem persists, try another browser like Chrome or Firefox to see if it’s browser-specific.

I hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if you have any further questions If the answer is helpful, please click "Accept Answer".
