    Hi,

KB5072033 does include dark mode for File Explorer’s operational dialogs, but the feature is rolling out gradually via Microsoft’s Controlled Feature Rollout (CFR). Even with the update installed, your device may not have the server-side toggle yet. Some legacy dialogs also remain light until migration is complete.

    What this means:

You’ve done everything right reinstalling, restarting Explorer, updating drivers won’t force the change.

The only guaranteed fix is waiting for the rollout, or using unsupported Insider tools (ViVeTool) if you want it immediately.

    I hope this helps.
