My GitHub for Startups benefit says Already Redeemed, but no coupon code

If your GitHub for Startups benefit indicates "Already Redeemed" but you did not receive a coupon code or redeem URL, it is likely that the credits were previously allocated to the Microsoft Account (MSA) associated with your email address, possibly from another Microsoft program. To resolve this issue, you should contact support at https://aka.ms/startuphelp-mfs-portal for assistance with activating your GitHub for Startups benefit credits.

If you are still using credits from another program, it is recommended to finish using those credits before attempting to activate the new ones. Alternatively, you can set up a new MSA with a different email address to use credits from two programs in parallel, but keep in mind that workloads cannot be shared across MSAs.

Microsoft support can re-trigger the redemption process, providing the necessary coupon for up to 20 seats of GitHub Enterprise Cloud for 12 months.

To fix it quickly, please do one of the following (whichever applies to you):

1. If you applied through Microsoft Founders Hub → log in here: https://foundershub.startups.microsoft.com → go to Support → open a ticket and write: “GitHub for Startups benefit shows Already Redeemed but no coupon was issued. Please re-trigger the redemption.”
2. If you applied directly through GitHub for Startups or another partner → open a ticket here: https://support.github.com/contact → choose Billing, plans, and payments → attach a screenshot of the “Already Redeemed” status and ask them to reset/re-issue the benefit.
