How to stop Edge from opening when I like a login wallpaper

If there is a way to turn it off, that'd be great. Every time I like a wallpaper at the login screen, I want to get more like it, but now Windows Edge opens. I hate it. It used to increase the number of that type of wallpaper coming up. I like nature ones and want more of those, but now I have to ignore them to bypass this 'feature.'

Sometimes I like to look up the photographer or the wallpaper, so it should be an option on the screen. Please make it an option, because sometimes I have things to get done.

I don't have bing wallpaper installed. There are no installed extensions for Edge that should involve this.

    Thanks for posting. To stop Edge from opening after liking a Windows Spotlight wallpaper, adjust a setting in Windows:

    1. Go to Settings > Personalization >; Lock screen.
    2. Ensure the Background is set to Windows Spotlight.
    3. Disable Get fun facts, tips, tricks, and more on your lock screen.

    Turning this off will prevent Edge from opening, but you'll still see Spotlight wallpapers. Liking images won’t change future wallpapers.

    If you want more nature wallpapers without Edge opening:

    • Use Windows Spotlight but don't use the Like button.
    • Switch to Slideshow and select a folder of nature images.
