If you are receiving charges on your credit card from Microsoft, it could be due to several reasons. Common reasons for unexpected charges include:

    1. Subscription Fees: If you have activated any Microsoft services or subscriptions, such as Microsoft 365 or Azure, you may see charges related to those services.
    2. Billing Frequency Changes: If you changed your billing frequency from monthly to annual, this could result in a larger charge.
    3. Trial Periods Ending: If you were using a free trial that has now converted to a paid subscription, charges may apply.
    4. Multiple Subscriptions: If you have multiple subscriptions, charges can come from different services.

To stop the charges, you may want to review your subscriptions and billing settings. You can also contact Microsoft support for assistance in understanding the specific charges on your account.

Regarding tags, they are often used in various Microsoft services for categorization and organization of resources. A "child tag" typically refers to a tag that is a subset of a parent tag, allowing for more detailed categorization.
