I can't paste a image within Onenote when I cut or copy from Onenote.

In the Windows app, Microsoft supports pasting images from other programs or the web, but copying and pasting images within OneNote itself may not always work. Make sure your OneNote is updated, use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste, and use Ctrl+X to move images. If it works in OneNote Online, you can use that as a temporary option. Microsoft notes that copy/paste behavior can differ between versions, and updates often fix these issues.

With Microsoft 365 OneNote and updates on, Microsoft supports pasting images using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V and moving images with Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V. Right-click menus may not show the paste option. If the Store version won’t install, continue using the Microsoft 365 version and make sure Windows and Office are fully updated, since updates often fix paste issues.

Mine is just labeled OneNote, the windows store is also labeled Onenote. There's no about section, so I don't know exactly what version I have. I tried ctrl+C and it doesn't work. The windows store got downloaded, it's the same version I was using, the PC program.
