I created and wrote in three outlook notes today, and they are all gone. Is there any way to recover these?

It seems that your Outlook notes may not be saving properly, which could be due to various reasons, such as synchronization issues or settings that affect how notes are stored. Unfortunately, the context provided does not contain specific information on recovering deleted notes in Outlook. However, if the notes are disappearing every time you close Outlook, it may be worth checking the following:

    1. Check if the notes are being saved properly: Ensure that you are saving the notes before closing Outlook.
    2. Look for synchronization issues: If you are using a version of Outlook that syncs with a server, there may be issues with the synchronization process.
    3. Check for any filters or view settings: Sometimes, items may not be visible due to applied filters or view settings.

If the notes are permanently deleted and not recoverable through the usual methods, you may need to recreate them. For more specific recovery options, consider checking Microsoft's support resources or contacting their support team directly.

    Dear @Sofia G,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

My deepest apologies for the unpleasant experience you’re having with the New Outlook. Losing notes every time you close Outlook is usually a sign that your notes are being saved locally in an Outlook Data File (.pst) that is not synchronizing with the server, or the file itself may be corrupted.

As a forum moderator, I genuinely wish I could directly access your account or review backend systems to diagnose and fix this for you. However, our role here is limited to providing general guidance and solutions that can be applied by users.

Before attempting any complex troubleshooting, the most likely location for your deleted notes is the Deleted Items folder.

In the New Outlook, notes are synced via OneNote/Sticky Notes and appear as items in the Notes folder under your mailbox. When you delete a note, it moves to the trash.
Since you haven’t specified your account type, I may not be able to provide an exact solution. However, assuming you're using a work/school account, you may consider the following steps:
Locate the Deleted Items folder in the navigation pane (folder list on the left).

    1. Click on Deleted Items to view its contents.
    2. Look for your notes, they may appear as individual items with their titles.
    3. If you find them, right-click the item and select Restore to move it back to your Notes folder.
    4. If they are not there, check Recover items deleted from this folder within the same Deleted Items folder.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If none of the above solutions work, let me know in the comments for further investigation. Please note that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm looking forward to your reply.
