Dear Blaylock, Brooke-Tailor M,
Thanks for confirming that you use Outlook on the web.
The steps I shared earlier were for the classic Outlook desktop app, which has different options while Outlook on the web has a slightly different layout and options. That's why the version information wasn't shown as how I suggested.
I understand that the previous layout with the month view and a persistent day appointment pane on the right was convenient for planning, and losing that feature can feel uncomfortable.
Many users have shared similar feedback after the update.
Here is a workaround that you could use:
Use the My Day icon (calendar with a checkmark) in the upper-right corner to open a side pane with two tabs:
To Do: For managing tasks
Calendar: For viewing your daily schedule
Therefore, your feedback really matters. The best way to make sure the product team sees your input is to submit feedback right from Outlook. This goes to the product team and helps influence future updates.
Microsoft actively reviews feedback from within the app, so your voice can help shape improvements in upcoming releases.
Thank you for your patience and for raising this important topic!
