Cell edit ribbon in excel no longer works on iPad.

I have tried all the “auto-generated” recommendations.

They did not work.

Thanks for posting. If the cell edit ribbon in Excel no longer works on iPad after an iOS update, it’s likely a compatibility or app cache issue. First, make sure Excel and iOS are both updated to the latest versions.

Second, force close Excel and restart your iPad. If that doesn’t help, sign out of your Microsoft account in Excel and sign back in.

Third, if the ribbon still doesn’t respond, reinstall Excel from the App Store to refresh all components.

Last, if the issue persists, check if the new Outlook/Excel mobile experience is enabled some UI changes are rolling out gradually. You can also report the bug via Help > Feedback in the app so Microsoft can address it.
