How do add chapters to Clipchamp in editor, or how to add text to video in Clipchamp viewer?

Information shared in an instructional/training video was incorrect. I am hoping to add an overlay to share the correct information with viewers. I would also like to have chapters to help viewers go navigate to the appropriate area since not all information will be needed for all users.

It looks like I can add chapters if using the Clipchamp Viewer and I can overlay text in the Clipchamp Editor, but edits saved in one can not be transferred to the other.

  1. Is there a way to overlay text in the viewer, or add chapters in the editor.
  2. If not are their plans to make Clipchamp work with itself?

In Clipchamp, you can manually add chapters to your videos in the Clipchamp Viewer. This feature allows viewers to navigate to specific parts of the video easily. However, as of now, there is no option to overlay text directly in the Clipchamp Viewer; text overlays can only be added in the Clipchamp Editor. Unfortunately, edits made in one platform cannot be transferred to the other, meaning you cannot add chapters in the Editor or overlay text in the Viewer.

Regarding future plans, there is no specific information available about making Clipchamp work more seamlessly between the Editor and Viewer. You may want to keep an eye on updates from Microsoft regarding any enhancements to Clipchamp's functionality.
