Emails text has started narrowing when I open the email on Ipad

I have an Ipad running 18.7.1 and the Emails have started narrowing the width of the text, sometimes down to a single character, if I rotate the Ipad it reverts to full width, how can I stop it happening

I have the same problem since the latest update. When I leave the Outlook app, like clicking on a link in a message, and come back to Outlook, the message I was viewing displays narrow. I can get it to go back to normal width by selecting a different message and coming back, maximizing the message display, or rotating the iPad.

I have the same issue, but let me amplify, and respond to Julie-Hu’s additional questions, specifically:

When did the issue happen? Does the issue happen often or just intermittently?

When I first open Outlook email on my iPad it appears normally, but if I follow a link in the email, when I return to Outlook, the open message is compressed into a narrow strip at the left of the window.

The issue started a couple of weeks ago and is constant, not inermittent

It occurs with all emails

See my opening statement - it's after I follow a link and return to Outlook

It persists after closing and opening Outlook

The same thing has been happening with my Outlook for several months. Will Microsoft or Apple ever have a fix? The fix shouldn’t be that difficult.

I have tried all of the suggested fixes including deleting and reinstalling the Outlook app.

I updated to IOS 26.1 last night and it appears to have fixed the issue.
