I lost all of my files on onedrive, including shared and local files.

Hi i just opened my onedrive today and suddenly all my saved files and shared files are gone. Before this I exceeded the storage limit so i have been wanting to remove some of the files. but now that all my files are gone, that means all of my notes for 4 years of study is gone to drain. please help me to restore my files. i have tried the restore my files features but i still failed.

    We've went through your post carefully and feel sorry to hear that you've lost all file on OneDrive and restore my files feature failed to help find back the file.

    To help you better, we'd like to confirm if "restore my files features" is pointed to Restore your OneDrive - Microsoft Support. If yes, please also check if the suggestions shared in Find lost or missing files in OneDrive - Microsoft Support can help.

    Generally, OneDrive Online retains backups of all content for 14 additional days beyond actual deletion. If content cannot be restored through the Recycle Bin or Files Restore, an administrator can contact Microsoft Support to request a restoration any time inside the 14-day window.

    Given this, if you still cannot find the missing files, for work/school account organized by the organization, we'd sincerely recommend you contact your Microsoft 365 administrator, follow the steps in this article to contact Online Support. The support team over there has higher permission than us, they can remotely help check the situation on your side, involve more resources to help you check if this can be restored from backend. This would be a more efficient way in handling this case for you.
